The American "Old West" has always interested me.  It was such a short period of history but it basically shaped the United States as we know it.  I love history but I'm no expert.  Writing things down helps me to explore an idea from multiple angles.  The purpose of this blog will be to share some of the things I learn as I do research for my books.
